About Me
Hi, my name is Smira, and I’m a Neuroscience major on the pre-med track from Irvine, California. I’ve always been interested to understanding how the brain works, especially in ways that impact everyday life. That curiosity led me to research prospective memory, how we remember to carry out future tasks, which I recently presented in a research poster with my group. Experiences like that, along with my time in the lab, have strengthened my interest in pursuing medicine and becoming a doctor in the future.
