Drs. Mudar, Raj, and Rogers have been awarded a 18-month grant ($144K) from the Retirement Research Foundation for Aging for the project “Video Technology-based Social Engagement Intervention for Family Care Partners of Persons with Dementia.” The overall objective of this project is to test the benefits of a video technology-based social engagement intervention for family care partners of persons with dementia. Care partners will receive social engagement opportunities on topics of interest (e.g., hobbies, traditions) unrelated to caregiving and the benefits of the intervention on care partners’ social, emotional, and cognitive health and quality of life will be assessed.
